My laptop battery is officially fried! So there will be less updates until I replace my battery adapter. Which will probably be sometime this weekend. Wahhhhh! I don’t want to close! I swear it’s like the only shift I have nowadays. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I have to open. My body is so used to sleeping in till 9 and not having to work till 2 P.M. On the bright side it’s really nice out today!

It’s day #2 of my two days off. Although I didn’t get a lot done it was pretty relaxing. I spent the morning watching episodes of Parks and Rec (I can never get enough of that show) and lounged with Snick on the couch. It was a long time coming but Brian and I have finally visited the Steam Whistle Brewery! We were both lucky enough to have a day off so we decided to visit Toronto for the day. Warning: This is a rant!
St. Patricks Day has got to be the worst holiday ever. St. Patricks Day is about comemorating Saint Patrick and the arrival of christianity in Ireland. Only somehow we turned it into an all day drinking fest. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy going out and having a drink. And I’ve participated in going out to drink on St. Particks Day. Living at the Potters is definitely different from living with just Brian. His parents are definitely go getters and always have to be doing something. Every weekend they probably have a list of things to do that is as long as my arm (ok maybe shorter). So of course since Brian and I are here, we tagged along for most of the errands. Today was probably the best day I’ve had since the flood. Although I wish I didn’t have to work, my shift turned out to be alright. I even got to go home early! It’s funny because I was only gone for like two days and somehow we ended up getting new mocha pumps and whatnot. I seriously cannot believe it’s Friday. I feel as though the past two days have just been a blur. One minute I’m enjoying my evening with Brian, next moment I wake up to find my carpet soaking and water dripping from my ceilings. Lets not forget the two days of construction. So it’s day 2 of repairs and I’m already exhausted. I haven’t really had a chance to escape from all the calamity and just being back in the middle of it all is tiring. As if living through one flood was bad enough, we woke up at 3:30 to find yet another flood in our home. We’re not sure where the water came from but our home is completely soaked in some areas. There is water dripping down in multiple spots in our ceiling (I have to use my HENKLE pots to catch water sigh!). Luckily none of our electronics seem to be wet.

Safe to say I’ve been sucked into the world of Pinterest. In other news, I attempted to bake a pie last night. Good news - it looks like a pie. Bad news, the recipe I used wasn’t so great. The recipe called for like 5-6 lemons, so I only used 3 and I definitely regret using more than one. You’d think you were eating a lemon pie than an apple pie....
