Hey everyone! I’m currently writing this post from the comfort of my new home! We are officially moved in! I never thought that we would be able to conquer the battlefield of boxes that were in here but thanks to Brian’s family it actually looks presentable.
The move went pretty well. Except for the fact that I got a really sick and I had to be brought to the hospital in an ambulance....
When people ask me how I feel about moving soon, on the outside I’m like “Oh my goodness just THREE more days!!! HEHE!” but on the inside I’m like “FML… three days.”
The current state of the basement is a total mess. Just thinking about packing is so exhausting. I managed to pack up most of my belongings… except for my clothes. Which of course...
I’m really getting tired of these horrible shifts that my manager has been making me work. I mean I do have open availability but doesn’t mean that he can schedule me WHENEVER he wants to. There’s something called being resonable. I honestly almost passed out at work the other day because he had scheduled me a close and an early mid shift the next day. Sigh!
In other news, we...

Forever alone. This actually sums up my work schedule this week. All I have are opens and closes. I realized this morning that I won’t get to see Brian until Thursday morning when he wakes up for work.
I had a stressful close night. My barista fell sick during her shift and I had to find a person to come into close last minute. Believe me, no one wants to come into work for a couple of...
While I was getting dressed this morning I noticed a tag sewn onto my scarf with different uses for it.
Uses:
1) as a neck scarf for warmth when temperatures drop.
2) as a ground cover for when there’s no chair around (though I highly doubt I will be putting a $50 scarf on the ground).
3) as a sun barrier for those out of the blue sunny days
4) as a body wrap or shawl
I...
Today was a busy day for snick and I. It consisted of sleeping in till noon, eating lots of chocolate (kitty food in her case) and laundry (and sleeping in laundry in her case).
This is the life.
Posting this while Brian takes the longest shower of life. He takes more time getting ready than I do…sometimes. It’s Sunday which mean it’s my day off! This past week has been a long one due to my many late nights at the bux. I don’t know what’s worse is that I see my coworkers more often than the members in this house. Emmy had to find out about my bangs via...

Apologies to everyone! I’ve been MIA as of late. I just never have the urge to go online or to look at my phone. You’re probably thinking, “who is this person?!” LOL. Anyways, I’ve managed to squeeze some alone time in today. My schedule is so crazy with this new store. Opens are as usual at 5 AM but the closes go all the way until 1:30 AM!!!! During exam times,...
This morning has been pretty productive…ish.
I woke up this morning with Brian - I usually get up when he gets up for work. Which in reality just means that I roll around in bed until it’s time for me to stand by the door and kiss him goodbye. Gross, I know LOL.
I made an attempt at cleaning up the basement but that didn’t get very far. I managed to clean up all the garbage but...
So we realized that Snick has been able to jump the fences in the backyard (quite a feat for her) and has been roaming the front yard. The other night Brian’s parents found her at the end of the street. Thank goodness nothing bad happened to her. Anyway, my point being she is currently grounded and stripped of her freedom outdoors. The past day and a half being home with her have been so...
It’s our last full day on the island and what is more appropriate than spending our last day on the beach. Apparently the beach “sings” to you. The sand is so fine that it makes a sound when you run through it. There is also this jump off section where you can jump into a riptide and it will carry you around and bring you back. Obviously I won’t be jumping off anytime soon....
Only two more day left in PEI. It honesty feels like we just got here. Tonight we are going to Lot 30 for dinner with the other cabins. I’m excited because I haven’t ate at any of the restaurants in town yet except for A&W or Starbucks. It will also be nice to be out of sweats and dress up for the evening. Post more later!
It’s day four on the island. We had a fairly relaxing morning at the cottage. Emily had bought the second season of Modern Family so we watched a couple of episodes over breakfast. After breakfast we drove into town for a Starbucks run and we went down to the docks. It’s been a good day except for the fact that I’m in a lot of pain. I think I might have pulled something during...
Today was a long day. I actually managed to get up before 10 am. Lots of drinking and late nights definitely catch up to you. We spent the day with Brian’s relatives driving around and exploring PEI. We drove out to have lunch and then stopped at a vineyard for a quick wine tasting session where I discovered how yummy Maple wine is. We then drove out to see some lighthouses and a beach....
My first day in PEI was pretty eventful. We woke up around 9 and went down at low tide for our first sandbar walk. Being a non swimmer and someone who hates stepping on rocks and seaweed, it was pretty cool. It took awhile to get over the fact that there were things in the water like crabs, clams and star fish. But I managed to get over my fears and even hold a star fish and a hermit crab! All in...
Quick update! Went for my first sandbar walk this morning. It was quite the experience! Heading into Charlottetown for groceries!
Greetings from New Brunswick! We just crossed the border from Maine not too long ago so I thought I would take time to share some of my adventures!
We spent one day and two nights in Boston. It was definitely worth stopping there. I expected it to just be a big city and it surprisingly had a lot of a small town feel and character. We spent Friday exploring the city by riding the tour trolley....
Hi everyone! I’m alive! I don’t have a lot of time for Facebook/ Tumblr these days since we are always out and about so I’m gonna take this moment to slow things down and update you all on everything Q.
The move was a success, we left at 9 and made it to Kitchener right when Brian got off work. Although my family was really shy, I think it went well. Brian’s fam liked...

508am. Worst sleep of life. But I’m so happy? Leaving in 4 hours and I’m so anxious!

Two days. Two more days!!!!
It is so weird to even say it out loud. I can’t seem to wrap my head around the idea of not being alone anymore. Of not having to wait. Of not having to hear his voice through the phone. To be actually close enough to touch him. To hear him breathing. I’ve waited a whole year and it was more than worth the wait.
As crazy as my last shift a Pinecrest was… I would actually like to do that again!
Five more days in Ottawa. It feels so weird to actually be moving. AGAIN. But hopefully it will be for the last time in a while. Honestly the packing and planning is starting to get to me and I feel as if I see another box I might go insane.
It’s been really tough trying to get all of my packing done, working and spending time with everyone that I really want to see. Luckily the packing...
I woke up at 7:30 this morning. Which was surprising since I had a really hard time falling asleep. Woke up, showered and was out of the house by 8 AM - seemed to be productive so far right? I made my way downtown to the
Passport office ( which apparently is like right down the hall from Holt Renfrew) and submitted my application. To my luck the agent approved my request for express pick up so I...
I’m lying here in bed and I for the life of me cannot fall asleep. The past few nights have just been so frustrating. I just want to rest but my mind seems to be running a marathon and my tired body doesn’t seem to want to shut down. I thought this was my body and I call the shots.
On a positive note… I reunited with Christina and Wendy today. It felt so nice to see them. The...
Just updated the tumblr on my iPhone and it is pretty sweet. Now if only I can just lie here in bed and not have to get up for work. I’m exhausted even though I didn’t do anything majorly exhausting. I got up around 10 in the morning, relaxed and bummed out at home, went to work, skipped the fireworks and skyped with the boyfriend. So all in all a pretty relaxing day. It feels weird to...

Vows.
When Thao came over today she showed me the trailer for the new NOT COMING SOON movie, “The Vow”. I know that these movies are made for girls like me. Who fall head over heels for cheesy romantic antics and squeel over every scene where couples share their first kiss. But this movie isn’t about finding true love. It’s about promising to keep that love alive, even...
All this “beating around the bush” nonsense is tiring. I just want the real deal. Is that too much?
On another note, work was really good this evening. I’m a little tired of the nonexistent communication between myself and my peers. I always communicate with them all the most important things and yet they seem to forget the tiniest details. Though I managed to pull through and...
